I’ve used Roda since getting my car, mainly because of the convenience of the valet service, but the actual quality of the work has consistently been disappointing. My most recent experience was the worst. My car was kept for three weeks with constant delays, shifting timelines, and poor communication. I was repeatedly told it would be ready “the next day,” which caused me to postpone my summer plans over and over. When the car was finally returned, it was dirty inside. It had not been vacuumed or cleaned, even though interior cleaning is listed as included. Items from my middle compartment were taken out and left scattered across the back seat, there were crumbs as if someone had been eating in the car, and black grease was smeared near the rear‑view mirror and headliner. Additionally, the ashtray no longer stays shut. After multiple issues over several visits, this experience confirmed that I can no longer trust Roda with my vehicle. The valet service was the only reason I kept returning, but the poor service quality has made it clear I won’t be using Roda again.

I have been a customer of Roda since 2023, but I will no longer be using them for vehicle repairs. My main concern is the poor communication during my last two service visits. During my most recent visit, I only received updates when I reached out first. My vehicle was kept for two nights, but I was not notified that it would be kept for a second night until I called and texted for an update. I then received a text around 11 p.m. informing me that the vehicle would remain overnight. The next morning, there was still no proactive communication about the status of my vehicle, so I had to call again for an update. When my vehicle was finally dropped off that afternoon, the valet asked me for a tip, which felt inappropriate given the overall service experience. My recommendation to Roda is to improve communication with customers, especially when a vehicle will be delayed or kept overnight. Customers should not have to repeatedly call or text to find out what is happening with their vehicle. Clear timelines, proactive updates, and more professional drop-off procedures would make a significant difference. Overall, the quality of communication and customer service has declined enough

I had an AMAZING EXPERIENCE, I missed my appointment and they still FIT me in!!!! I had to leave to go to NYC by 3pm. They made sure they met the promise time and I was enroute and ready safely. Thank you Michael and Gabriele, you were awesome!!!!!

The initial appointment setting and pick up was great. The car did need to be kept overnight and that wasn’t great but I could accommodate. When I got my car back the seats were wet and the back of my passenger and drivers chair were unflapped. I don’t know how ton describe it but the bottom back of the seat now hangs loose. I don’t know how they did this nor do I know how to repair it. My clothes were stained my the wet seats since there was no warning. I am very disappointed by the ruined clothing and bag that I put on the seat for the ride home. It took 3 days of open windows to get the chemical smell out of the car. I wanted to love this service but it’s did not meet expectations. The prices were reasonable and the people were nice. I got a $50 credit for my troubles but I won’t be using them again.

My car was picked up at 12:30 PM in DC for an Express Detail and undercarriage wash. It was not returned until around 8:00 PM. That is 7.5 hours for an “express” service. I received no proactive updates. Every status required me chasing them through chat. I was told multiple times it would be ready “within minutes,” then told it would arrive by 7:00 PM — while my GPS showed it still sitting in their Rockville lot. At 7:35 PM, my Volvo app showed the engine turned on, yet both my GPS and their own tracking link still showed the vehicle stationary in their parking lot. The car also showed as unlocked (including the trunk) while sitting there. When I called the “valet” number provided, the automated message warned: “The number you are calling is likely a scam. We recommend you hang up now.” That is not something you want to hear when your car is in someone else’s possession. Their main listed phone number hung up on me. No inspection videos were provided despite advertising that process. I was left stranded at work for hours past normal with no clear timeline and no reliable communication. This company has polished marketing, but the execution and transparency do not match the
